I found another great blog post with 11 new 18" doll patterns. The name of the blog is nest full of eggs. They each come from other blogs and they are free patterns.

The first one is a reversible skirt from https://oliverands.com/community/blog/2014/01/18-inch-doll-skirt-tutorial.html

2. Lazy Day Skirt from https://oliverands.com/free-patterns/lazy-days-skirt/

10. Doily Circle Skirt  http://nestfullofeggs.blogspot.com/2014/05/doily-circle-skirt-for-18-inch-doll.html
11. No Sew Dress http://nestfullofeggs.blogspot.com/2014/08/no-sew-18-inch-doll-dresses.html

I haven't made any of these outfits yet, but I am planning to. They look so easy. Looks like to me you just need the basic sewing skills.
